In the winter of 1952 there was a blistering snow storm in Rochester, Maryland. In this town, they have had plenty of snow storms but not anything big like this one. This storm was so big it killed 500 people.
The Foster family had just moved into Rochester from California, so obviously they havent witnessed snow before. They didnt know what to do! They had no snow pants, sweatshirts, or even hats and mittens. It came to the point where they had to sit on eachother for warmth. Until... they saw this tall brick opening with what looked like pieces of wood. Mr. Foster walked over to it and smelled it wondering what it is. He looked up images of what he described it looked like on google and finally figured out it was a fireplace! They lit a match and they became warm!
They lived happily ever after in Maryland!
has good detail but a sad beggining. very creative. could have made the ending a little longer
